CHRISTMAS PREPARATION

Ho Ho Ho! Christmas is ahead, and because of that, we have decided to perform one of the most famous Christmas stories by Charles Dickens, 'A Christmas Carol'. All the students will take part in this play and will be performed in front of the parents before Christmas holidays. Every child has been given his/her role and we will be practising every day.

THANKSGIVING DAY

On the fourth Thursday of November it takes place an American party in which people thank for everything they have. After that, people normally have a big turkey for dinner and other tasty dishes.
On this day, our students wanted to do the same, so they thanked for having their parents, brothers, sisters, friends, and education. Later, all of us cooked a lovely and delicious turkey snacks using cream cheese, turkey, raisins and wheat tortillas.
Needless to say that we had a great time cooking and eating together!
Happy thanksgiving!

IT IS HALLOWEEN TIME

For this creepy day of the year, our children learnt the real story of Halloween.
Did you know that it started during the 15th Century? Or that the name of Halloween comes from "All Hollows Eve"?
You can find all the information in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwAGbpgxmlE&t=3s

After the History lesson, all our students in collaboration with their parents, created a magic pumpkin craft, using this video as a guideline: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84_R-vFaToc

Happy Halloween!
